As Studio Director, Mark Vevle oversees studio operations and project delivery while developing new business strategies to shape the firm’s future. With a background in public art, he brings a unique perspective to his work at Lammey+Giorgio that centers on creative expression and engagement in shared spaces. These ideals inform his approach as a leader who strives to balance productivity and camaraderie.
The user experience is a guiding principle in Mark's work, which also draws on his expertise in wayfinding design for complex spaces like universities, hospitals, and public parks. Recent milestones include being part of the team that designed the Shared Use Path experience on the Gov. Mario M Cuomo Bridge in New York City.
When he’s off the clock, Mark enjoys culinary adventures, live music, and contemporary art, which inspire his creative problem-solving. He's served on public art juries, on the board of the Print Center, and as an organizer for the Philadelphia Art Book Fair. He's also an avid supporter of the Philadelphia Union MLS soccer team. These varied interests help Mark understand diverse perspectives to shape more vibrant and inclusive environments.
Mark graduated from the University of Southern California with an MA in Public Art Administration and holds a BA in Studio Art and Advertising from Concordia College.
